Over 10 thousand people gathered at the Jantar Mantar to Support Anna Hazare's fast on 25 March 2012.

Anna Hazare was on a day-long fast on March 25 2012, at Jantar Mantar in Delhi from 11am to 05pm He was demanding for the protection of whistleblowers, a portion that has been removed from the bill drafted by the UPA government. Hazare said the government has failed to protect the whistleblowers.

Anna Hazare set 2014 deadline for the government to bring the strong and independent Jan Lokpal Bill.

He said about the 25 people who have been killed fighting against corruption: "Twenty-five people are dead... Their (whistleblowers') mothers, their children, their fathers, their wives are crying for justice. But the government is not listening to the cries of people. The government has turned deaf and dumb."

"The people who are fighting against corruption and have given their lives, the government is not doing anything to protect them," he told reporters.

He also said to all Indian "We don't have to sleep now. We have slept enough."

Anna Hazare's fast is rescheduled to March 25 in Delhi

Anna Hazare's fast is rescheduled to March 25 in Delhi against Corruption. According to Team Anna: "The country knows it well that the Congress sabotaged the Jan Lokpal bill meant to bring culprits to book in a speedy manner. If the Jan Lokpal would have been implemented justice would not have remained elusive."

This is the first Fast by Anna Ji this year. Last fast was in dec 2011 in Mumbai, where he got some health issue(shhhh.... don't ask me How, who did that..).
